AI in Business: Friend or Foe?

Are you worried that AI will take away jobs or that it's too complicated to implement in your business? Do you fear losing the personal touch with your customers or wasting time on tools that don’t deliver?

When I first started using AI, I had the same fears. I thought AI was just for tech giants and that it would make my business feel robotic. But I quickly discovered that AI, when used correctly, is a powerful ally.

I was ANTI-AI back in December of 2022. After all, people refer to me as a connector. I didn't want any more BOTs sliding into my DMs—I wanted real connections. So, I was like, "No AI on my watch." Then, in January 2023, I dipped my toes in, playing around with how to use it for content—I failed miserably. I sounded like everyone else.

Then I saw it—a certification in AI. It made sense as many people were using it, and the contract job I had was reducing my hours and focusing on AI. Truth be told, they were no longer a fit for me, so I broke loose and dove into AI training. When I emerged from that training, I realized AI and people could coexist. AI is simply a tool, not a replacement.

Here’s what AI can do:

  • Boost Productivity: Automate repetitive tasks.

  • Enhance Customer Engagement: Personalize interactions.

  • Streamline Marketing Strategies: Create targeted campaigns.

  • Generate Insights: Make data-driven decisions.

  • Improve Efficiency: Free up time for strategic activities.

Here’s the truth: AI is designed to work alongside you, not replace you. It takes over repetitive tasks, freeing up your time to focus on what you do best. With AI, I’ve saved a ton of hours each week, reduced my frustrations with mundane tasks, enhanced customer interactions, and streamlined my marketing strategies.
