LinkedIn Audio Events
Linked rolled out over 40 new features last year and they already started rolling out new ones in 2022.
How to use
-
Create an event on LinkedIn
a. Image size is tricky 1920 x 1080 is what I ended up using.
b. I’m rethinking my image and feel that it should say LinkedIn Audio Event.
c. Title of your event must include “LinkedIn Audio” in order for it to come up in searches.
I word my like this:
LinkedIn Audio Event: {Title of my show}
-
Don’t expect people to find your event easily. Invite them and do a post about your event.
-
TIME: How long are you staying in the room?
a. People can’t enter after the end time, but the discussion can continue.
b. There is a 3 hour max time
-
There is No co host option at the time of this show. So if you don’t show up, no one else can launch it. The host can leave the room and the discussion can continue as long as there is someone on the “stage”. However, only the host can bring someone from the audience up to the “stage”.
-
There is a max of 17 people on stage.
-
The Mic/mute button bottom right, as well as the reactions.
-
This feature is available on both mobile and desktop. However you can’t join the same event on both devices at once, but you can toggle between them.
